What is a PET container?
PET is a type of plastic commonly used for clear containers. Code number 1 on the bottom of a container marks PET plastic. Before filling, check that each container is clean and not cracked. If you sell fresh fruit and vegetables, make sure the contents are dry before they go in, and do not overfill so the lid is pushed up. Use older packs first so your supply keeps rotating.
