What you need to sell ice cream
Ice cream sellers usually need three things: a container to serve in, a spoon to eat with, and a bag to carry it home. The container can be a small plastic cup or a paper bowl. Decide the scoop size you serve first, then choose a container that holds one serving without overflowing.
Small plastic cups for ice cream
Gelas Kecil Plastik PP 7oz DC-7 (50pcs) Aiskrim Warna is a 7oz PP plastic cup in 50 pieces, sold in colours. Gelas Plastik Kecil Aiskrim DC-6 6oz 50pcs Warna Hijau Merah Biru Kuning is a 6oz ice cream cup in 50 pieces, in green, red, blue and yellow. Both suit small servings or desserts in a cup.
Paper ice cream bowls
IceCream Paper Bowl 160cc 260cc 390cc Cup Kertas Aiskrim Disposable Tiada Penutup is a paper ice cream bowl in three sizes: 160cc, 260cc and 390cc, without a lid. The three sizes let you sell small, medium and large servings with the same kind of container.
Ice cream spoons
Sudu Aiskrim Mini Plastik Colorful (~100pcs) is a colourful mini ice cream spoon in about 100 pieces. Sudu Plastik Aiskrim 100pcs Transparent is a clear ice cream spoon in 100 pieces. Sudu Aiskrim Plastik Berwarna 12CM (50pcs) is a coloured 12cm ice cream spoon in 50 pieces. Choose a spoon size that matches your cup or bowl.
Ice cream bags
Beg Plastik Aiskrim KINGKONG Malaysia is in our product list for sellers who pack ice cream to take home. Check the size and thickness of the bag from the photo and the product name before buying in large quantities.
Choosing by type of sale
A shop that serves ice cream on the spot usually uses bowls, while a small stall or ice cream van finds light small cups easier. If you sell at events or night markets, keep more than one size so customers can choose. Store cups, bowls and spoons in their closed original packs so they stay clean and free from dust.
Planning the number of cups and spoons
Each serving of ice cream needs one cup or bowl and one spoon, so the number of spoons should be at least the same as the number of cups. Count your sales on an ordinary day and on a weekend, then add a little extra for busier days. For a big event such as a feast or a fair, plan early and contact the branch before the event so you have time to collect the items.
